Adam's mind never strays far from the swampy jungle regions and this is no exception.
It's Joe's Fault.
From 16th May 2009Adam's mind never strays far from the swampy jungle regions and this is no exception.
It's Joe's Fault.
From 16th May 2009It seems too innovative to believe but as we all know, Adam and Joe are the eyes and ears of the film industry newshounds.
We're still awaiting confirmation from Scott Free but a spokesperson at Colonic Industries Inc. has confirmed they will be receiving a sizeable consultancy fee from "an unnamed production company" for a period that coincides with the duration of pre-production and well into principal photography.
From 14th November 09After seeking out the clip for last Tuesday, it pleased my tidy mind to include this today. It may strike you as overlong and a little tedious but there are some lovely nuggets in there.
This item was chosen to suffer the now celebrated fate last experienced by the "Easy" button. It wouldn't be Christmas without some jovial destruction. The following acts as a disclaimer.
From 22nd December 2007
Sorry if you feel this blog is becoming prematurely festive. It is coincidence, I assure you.
I am of course, referring to Adam and Joe's realisation that it is completely unneccessary to sit through the David Dickenson farce with a treasured artefact in your hand.
I thought this butted up nicely against yesterday's nugget but never fear, there will be more Deal or No Deal drivel from the Adam and Joe Archive tomorrow.
This show is essentially "Can I Have A Bit More Money, Please"
From 19th December 2009If anything in this blog appears like a lame innuendo, you only have your own filthy mind to blame.
It would be an overstatement to say this clip was requested but a mention of it popped up on Twitter via Richard Neville so I thought I'd dig it out.
From 25th March 2006from 14th November 09
After yesterday's rather naughty post, I thought Sunday deserved something joyously naïve and uplifting.
Mummy and Daddy Cornish were so enthusiastic about the Mama Mia film that Joe felt he really should upgrade it from it's place at the bottom of the 'must see' pile.
So impressed was Joe that he clipped the musical highlight of the film for us. I would suggest that you listen to this in a room completely void of sensitive dogs.
From 23rd August 2008.
Resist the urge to kill yourself and stick with it.
It's the weekend. There's a 'R' in the month. Let yourself go.
I should really thank Ian Breen again for this as I probably wouldn't have chosen it if he hadn't had me looking through the old Christmas shows.
Once again, it's part of the gift exchange but beyond that, not too festive.
From 20th December 2008
I was going to list all of the TwitSquadron members who attended but in doing that I might commit the terrible shame-crime of forgetting someone. There were hundreds of us, at least. Some of them are even on camera, briefly.
There are photos here and everything.
If you don't know what all this was about, how dare you? Put in a few seconds of research, for goodness sake.
Fulfilling a request from Anecdotties with Joe's little Grand Theft Auto IV dream world......
From 3rd May 2008with thanks to Monastico for helping me to find this one.
Just for the memories, a little Black Squadron chitty chat.
That was preceded by the most inappropriate disruption from Cornballs.from 16th May 2009
It's always nice to fill a request but it's an honour when it comes from the beautiful Sam Clements.
I didn't even wait till the morning for this one, sir.
From 5th September 2009I know you'll want one bit of this as your text alert tone so here it is:
This is another request fulfilled. You can always tweet me with a request and if I can be arsed, I'll find it and plop it up here*.
It have Ian Breen to thank for this one.
Joe gave Adam a CD from Derek Acorah as one of his Christmas presents and the waffle the dribbled around it was reliably priceless.
I've stayed away from the Christmas episodes for most of the year but this isn't a particularly festive.
From the 20th December 2008 pre-recorded show.
*I can almost always be arsed.
Not my words but........
From 21st March 2009
Whilst the appointment would be enjoyable, it would not directly help his condition.
from 16th May 2009This is almost as insane as @WickWox's Paul McCartney obsession.
From Naomi Corrin, aged 11 who later grew up to do this.
From 28th February 2009Edited to add that I should have thanked Erique on the AdamAndJoe.com blog for sort of requesting it.
As the nights draw in, they would probably cuddle up and reminisce about having fun with a li-lo.
21st November 2009As you know, I'm always happy to fulfil a request.
This one was from Henry Ellis and whilst it doesn't actually include Adam and Joe, these two nuggets were broadcast during their Glastonbury 09 shows....or maybe on the podcasts.
I seem to remember there were three of these in total, made by Adam & Joe's lovely producer, James Stirling. A very satisfying cultural crossover for me because I did so miss Charlotte Green's luxurious satin voice doing the Shipping Forecast when she moved on to bigger things.
One of those rare bursts of genuine, loving honesty from Joe when he's reminded of the special bond he has with Adam's brain as he discovers that they both love Bernie Mac.
From 30th August 2003You can see a little bit more Bernie here.
Even if Joe didn't know what an amuse-bouche was back then, he was disarmingly sweet with the young Alex. I do like the way his father is very nearly a match for Joe (if such a thing even exists).
from 25th March 2006Episode Two of Country Man.
Also available here.
We may never know who suggested this intro to them.
From 24th October 2009
Sorry the sync is out on this. I tried it a couple of times & I can't be bothered to fix it. Life's too short.
From 26th February 2006
Please note: I loathe these shows with a passion. You don't want to challenge me on this.
Please be careful when you joyfully relate a charming comparison made by your three year old.
from 3rd October 2009With thanks to ChubbyBadass on Twitter, it seems that true to his word, Adam is doing another little gig while he's over there.
It's Whiplash night at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and it's free!
The line-up is detailed on this forum. I hope it's accurate.
If you're in town or have friends in town, please go along and support the lovely man.
There are details about his Sunday gig here and you can read more about the trip at Adam's own blog.
This is utterly magnificent.
Be sure to browse the rest of Chris's work
Just in case you don't come here via my Twitter account.....these are the deets.
He's doing a one hour set which I would imagine is similar to the non-BUG gigs he does.
He'll be singing and dancing and prancing and reading YouTube comments and I just hope New York are ready to be tickled into submission by the beardy wonder.
It's at the sexy Luca Lounge on Sunday at 9pm and I'll be there! I won't.
I can hardly contain how excited I am for dear, dear Adam. He must be simultaneously bursting with excitement and pooping himself but they'll love him and his set is incredible at the moment.
It's always the uncontrollable giggles that I find addictive. It's one of my favourite feelings.
3rd October 2009Another request from the mind Rollodex of Jack Buckley, happily fulfilled.
From 8th May 2004
For someone who can knock out a decent tune with Garageband, Joe seems to really struggle to find the down beat on this one.
2nd May 09
Barely a second of Adam's BTDMA acceptance speech was shown on ITV2 but the same can be said of most winners.
[wpvideo 9PaR862n]
Something to do over coffee.
This was one of the many wonderful things in the beautifully produced programme for 6Fest.
Don't forget to check for photos of Adam at their website.
