Exclusive: Ink dry on location for Ridley Scott's "Monopoly" #AdamAndJoe
It seems too innovative to believe but as we all know, Adam and Joe are the eyes and ears of the film industry newshounds.
We're still awaiting confirmation from Scott Free but a spokesperson at Colonic Industries Inc. has confirmed they will be receiving a sizeable consultancy fee from "an unnamed production company" for a period that coincides with the duration of pre-production and well into principal photography.

This popped up on YouTube yesterday with thanks to Bob.
I clearly remember giggling uncontrollably when this was first broadcast but that may have been due to the build-up of other insane texts earlier in the morning.
This is a solid example of the perfection enjoyed when listeners' contributions feed Adam and Joe with the material that they can present in their own unique way to make this a Sony Gold winning show.
It's from 4th April 09.
Also please note the use of Sally Grosart's Paper People. Sally can still be viewed, flirting with Tim Minchin (or was it the other way around?) on Genius via the iPlayer.

Pierce Bronholm sings especially for us #AdamAndJoe
After yesterday's rather naughty post, I thought Sunday deserved something joyously naïve and uplifting.
Mummy and Daddy Cornish were so enthusiastic about the Mama Mia film that Joe felt he really should upgrade it from it's place at the bottom of the 'must see' pile.
So impressed was Joe that he clipped the musical highlight of the film for us. I would suggest that you listen to this in a room completely void of sensitive dogs.

As you know, I'm always happy to fulfil a request.
This one was from Henry Ellis and whilst it doesn't actually include Adam and Joe, these two nuggets were broadcast during their Glastonbury 09 shows....or maybe on the podcasts.
I seem to remember there were three of these in total, made by Adam & Joe's lovely producer, James Stirling. A very satisfying cultural crossover for me because I did so miss Charlotte Green's luxurious satin voice doing the Shipping Forecast when she moved on to bigger things.

It's Whiplash night at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and it's free!

Adam Buxton has a gig in New York on Sunday! #AdamBuxton
Just in case you don't come here via my Twitter account.....these are the deets.
He's doing a one hour set which I would imagine is similar to the non-BUG gigs he does.
He'll be singing and dancing and prancing and reading YouTube comments and I just hope New York are ready to be tickled into submission by the beardy wonder.
It's at the sexy Luca Lounge on Sunday at 9pm and I'll be there! I won't.
I can hardly contain how excited I am for dear, dear Adam. He must be simultaneously bursting with excitement and pooping himself but they'll love him and his set is incredible at the moment.

Can't find a decent link but I trust this man without exception.
Both Adam and Joe were there. For some unaccountable reason, they seem to be sitting round the wrong way but I can still just make out which one is which using my mind skills.
This was the first 'full' report on-line but it doesn't say much and it certainly doesn't say it all.
I hope Joe took Adam's win in good faith. It would have been a little odd if the Adam and Joe Show had won after all these months off air (six glorious hours in summer, notwithstanding).
