....a little tip here mates, one of the funniest bits of this nugget is right at the end so don't give up on it.

It's good to see the hashtagging is still going strong. Please check yesterday's post for the link to the petition. We can do this.
In the meantime, when I need some cheer I usually manage to find it in 13th June 2009......Joe's altercation with a silly mag stand.from 13th June 09
I don't have the heart to post my daily Adam and Joe sound nugget today.
The persistent rain is getting everyone down but then I remembered that it can be quite sexy.
From 31st October 2009
This Ditty-In-The-Dock had a 'Prince' theme and Adam played his cute card to great effect, leaving Joe to sulk in a puddle on the floor.
Adam diligently replaced all the censorious words in Sexy MF with little comments from his baby son. I'm happy to report that my geek nerve took the healthier option of not bothering to work out exactly how old the little mite was at this point. You see? I'm not quite as frightening as you thought I was.I think this was from what us nerds call the second series of the XFM shows but I didn't note the date at the time.
A nice gentle podcast intro is called for this morning.
The weather in old London town is angry enough already so we don't need to hear Adam and Joe descending into chaos, thank you very much.
Mr Sandman from 20th June 2009 (aka Mr Wolf Pants)
Joe was actually referring to an upcoming Half Term Break Adam was about to take but if this isn't a recipe for an enjoyable Sunday, I shall eat my hat.
From 17th October 2009
Why do our parents prefer our friends?
From 3rd October 09
Just shortie today, where Adam snuck in at the end of the podcast after Joe had left.
From the Podcast of the show aired on 29th August 2009
A little bit more light hearted today. It's sunny, after all.
From 21st November 2009
......although you'd never know it if you'd tuned in last Monday, when I totally forgot to pluck one from my intro file.
Here we have a basket of intro songs from 28th March 2009 in which once again, for no good reason Joe assumes he has won and with a tone that implies he's so numb to it now there is not even a hint of world weariness, Adam agrees.
Joe gets vocal about those comedy security men who lumber up and down your peripheral vision at the cinema, distracting you with their stupid infra-red goggles to see if anyone is recording their precious film that you were quite enjoying until they made you lose the plot.
From XFM on 12th June 2004
A longer one today - memories from the Electric Proms featuring some input from TwitSquadron too.
From the show aired on 24th October 2009
One of my favourite waffles from 20th June 2009 wherein Adam's humour balances Joe's innovation for injecting new interest into the tired old wife-swap formula.
...............that's me at the door with the peanuts.
Joe thoughts on seeing Derren Brown's show.
From XFM on 12th June 2004
I'll warn you now, this is quite, quite beautiful............in parts and also a tad pretentious but he was only a stringy little squirt in those days.
This is from one of the XFM shows we used to only have an incomplete version of dated 20th November 04. We now have the full show from start to finish.
This one is for @Cheznoir apropos her tweet this morning.
I have this on my phone as a sound file. It's better with the image, of course but this is in haste today............One of the bygone strands of the Adam and Joe show today. We're all used to hearing the lovely BaaadDaad but today the glory goes to Adam's Mummy.
From 20th November 2004
I want to name check the source of this 'new' old material again so today I'm going to embed the soap opera clips Benjamin put on YouTube
This is one of the sweetest moments on radio.
Not only to see the the grandeur of haughty Torpedo Commander Cornballs crumble in front of his hero but to witness the way his dear friend overcomes his own nerves to save him from pending disaster.
I sincerely hope Joe doesn't mind me putting this here since it was edited from the podcast.
It's utterly delightful and heart warming. From The Past
This wafted out of my player on the way to the giggle mill this morning. It really is breathtakingly beautiful so I thought I'd remind everyone of it's mystical joy.
Having beaten all the Scottish out of his longterm partner, Joe has now taught her to agree with him and aspires to eventually have her capitulate on most matters.
28th August 07
It's Monday, so it's time for another podcast intro song. This one is from 9th May 2009.
