It was also very strong on originality in both its content and its formats musical pastiches, features, presenter-led sequences and banter. It is clear that a great deal of thought and preparation behind this programme, but the presenters great strength is to make hard work sound easy. It interacts with its audience in a refreshing, engaging way. A wonderful, ambitious, funny programme.
